The James River Division

Purpose
The James River Division’s purpose is to share the fun and excitement of model railroading with modelers in Central and Southside Virginia. We do this through our web page, a Member’s Forum on Yahoo Groups, a quarterly newsletter, Crossties, and four to six meets per year in locations around the Division. These meets feature clinics, a white elephant table, model displays and contests, door prizes, home layout tours and model railroading fellowship. Clinics are generally how-to modeling subjects, but also include information on prototype railroading as well. We try to have one all-layout-tour meet per year.  The James River Division makes every effort to bring the benefits of NMRA membership and model railroading in general to you on a more local and personal level.
